Bubble tea, tea houses, Asian bakeries and dessert shops in this group are usually walk-in, counter-order businesses with a menu board overhead listing sweetness and ice levels you can adjust when ordering. Standard bubble tea customization includes sugar level (0-100%), ice level, and a choice of toppings like boba pearls, pudding or jelly, usually at a small extra charge. Asian bakeries sell items individually with tongs and a tray, cafeteria-style, rather than pre-boxed, and pastries are typically less sweet than Western bakery items. Lines build up quickly after school and in the evening, especially near colleges. Most of these businesses accept cards and mobile pay and skew younger in clientele and atmosphere.

Palo Alto is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Palo Alto follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

**AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE OWNER** My friends and I walked by this store thinking it was a cute shop to check out. We have been walking around downtown for hours because of the art fair so we wanted to sit for a couple minutes in the empty outdoor seating area before going inside to make a purchase. Before we sat down, my friend with a mobility aid went inside to ask if we could sit at one of the tables outside. She was told that the tables are for paying customers only which was fine. She told them that she would purchase something from the shop but just wanted to sit down for a few minutes because again, she’s been on her feet for HOURS. Less than a minute after we sat down, Adams came out to berate my friends and I for sitting at the table because we haven’t purchased anything from his store. My friend reminded him that she intended to make a purchase soon and that she just needed a moment to rest. He became even more hostile and yelled at us for having a beverage from another store. Again, we were sitting outside. The outdoor seating area was completely empty and there were no other customers. His behavior was so off putting that we just decided to leave and not purc

A Masterclass in Craftsmanship: From the moment you walk through the doors, you know you’re in for an experience. The shop is vibrant and whimsical, but the real magic lies in the display case. Every bonbon is a tiny, handcrafted masterpiece, silk-screened with intricate designs and filled with ganaches that prove Timothy Woods’ background in farm-to-table cuisine. The Chocolates: Art You Can Eat You can tell these aren't mass-produced factory sweets. Everything is made in small batches, and the dedication to quality is evident in every bite. The shell is always the perfect thicknessβ€”providing that satisfying "snap"β€”which gives way to centers that are rich, aromatic, and incredibly balanced. Whether you opt for a bold single-origin dark chocolate or something more playful like a fruit-infused ganache, the flavor profiles are distinct and sophisticated. The "Must-Try" Experience If you goβ€”and you absolutely shouldβ€”the sipping chocolate is non-negotiable. It is legendary for a reason. Rich, velvety, and completely customizable, it’s a soul-warming experience that feels like a decadent indulgence, especially if you catch it on a brisk Bay Area day. Why It Stands Out Beyond the c

Ordered the 72% hot chocolate. Apparently single origin. Love it! Probably one of the best I’ve had. Bought some chocolate buttons (truffles) Great service. The attendant patiently explained the origin of the chocolate I was interested in, and the filling. All the chocolate buttons look so exquisite and taste great. I devoured a dark coffee on the spot and it was the right amount of sweetness and the coffee filling just melted into your mouth. Definitely an indulgent experience and will also put a tiny dent in your wallet but worth it.

Absolutely amazing chocolate milk and milkshake. The chocolate flavor is superbly rich, and each variety of chocolate has it's own distinct taste. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for anything dark chocolate.
